I have a creeping suspicion that my downspout line is clogged, but have ran a hose directly into the ground line and have not gotten any backup after a minute. The reason I believe the line may be clogged is because the mulch above the line next to the house stays damp long after the rest of the surrounding area dries out, and because the exit spot on the street only trickles out a very small amount of water when it rains. I can rent a powered augur machine for $50 or so and give it a whirl but would rather determine whether or not the line actually needs cleaned out first. So what can I do to determine whether the downspout line is clogged? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2pBFbyQ
