Charter is the only ISP that goes to my apartment complex I can find (AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Frontier, all no dice). I have been sharing with my neighbors, who pay $40 a month, but they're moving. The same speed from Charter is a "promotion" at $45.99/month for the same speed +$5 a month for wifi, so really it's 25% more expensive and will go up in a year. Telling them my neighbors are paying less for the same thing and threatening to go with another company did not get them to budge. Has anyone had success? I really need home internet for work purposes.
