I live in the tropics (Taiwan), which means my home will never get snow, nor is a dark roof a benefit in the winter.The home I live in has a flat metal roof which was painted dark grey/black when installed. This house gets ridiculously hot in the summer.Two questions:1- I can't see any benefit of not painting my roof to be reflective. Am I missing something here aside from the safety concerns while painting?2- There are specific roof paints available in the US such as Karnak products.
