My understanding is many European car manufacturers will fly you out to Europe themselves, put you in a hotel, and give you spending money for while you're there if you buy their car there. My understanding is that is makes sense to for them because extra expenses in selling their car are avoided by you coming directly to them.
Do any of you have experience with this? I'm a little concerned with stuff like:
- Ok, that means I can't trade in my car here so I have to sell my current car
- What do I have to do to import the newly purchased car? What fees/taxes do I have to pay?
- Etc
I'd like to take a trip to Europe for the first time and I do want to buy a new car this year so this popped up my mind as several years ago I met someone who did this and I saw a volvo post about them offering this (Currently drive a Volvo).
