For those that use actively-managed mutual funds, what are some of your favorites and why? What do you look for? I'm not trying to turn this into an active vs index conversation, so please spare me the argument for indexing. I can get that from any of the 10+ daily posts on why average is best. I do hold index funds, but I happen to believe that active funds can outperform when it comes to foreign, small cap and fixed income investments.
I have PONDX, MAPTX, OAKIX and OPGIX. I would like to be in PGOAX when/if it ever opens back up.
