So recently I followed a piece of advice from here saying that Comcast offers a lot of great deals that you cannot find on their website, to customers who contact customer service and 'threaten' to leave. It worked; I got a great deal.
This lead me to think, does ATT do the same thing? I have an aunt whom I'd very much like to help as she only has a phone plan for her tailoring and alterations business and she's paying around $35/month which is not bad; however, she'd like to add internet to her plan because the phone reception in her shop is horrible, leading to poor internet connection.
I checked ATT's website for that area and a package that offers internet up to 50 Mbps and 'Phone Unlimited' (which is important for her business) costs $60/month for 24 months.
I was wondering if I contacted customer service and tried to play the same trick with them, will I be able to knock the price down a little bit?
