long story short im going to be coming into a windfall of cash between 30-60k resulting from an accident i was involved in. i am young( 25 m) living San Diego, CA and this is by far the largest amount of money i have ever been close to . of course im not going to blow it on bikes or cars or anything like that i want to do something smart with the money but frankly property seems like a far reach considering the fact i live in SD and everything here is insanely priced and also i only have half decent credit. i have talked to my father about possibly investing the money into some stable companies but am really unsure of exactly what to do with this amount of money (besides paying off my various outstanding debts that total around 2-3k) and i know i shouldnt have it just sit in my bank account doing nothing for me! any and all advice is very appreciated.
