I just got a job $11hr 35-40 hours a week, sometimes more. It is really hard to find affordable housing in the area but I found a cheap studio all utilities included for $700 a month, $75 for parking (I have a car). I have about $3,500 saved and the house requires first month rent + security deposit.
Its a super super super small studio but even roommates in the area average 600-700 a month. I'm just not sure if I can afford it realistically. My only other costs are groceries, insurance ($300 for 6 months) and gas. Can I do it? Will I be super poor? Or should I look into a place with a 20-30 minute commute to work where its cheaper?
