Quick heads up, this is a "first world problem" type of question so I apologize in advance.

Hello pf, we are looking at all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean for our honeymoon vacation. We are about to book our flights and resort for a total of $2,600. We really want to book it, however in the back of our heads we feel guilty for spending money. We say "well, we could also just do a road trip and hotel for about $1000, and save/invest the $1600".

A little background, between the both of us we have around $39000 in 401k's, she's at 15% contribution and I'm at 20%. We have a $25000 e-fund, good for 9 months, an $8000 house fund, and $10000 in bonds in a taxable account. In debt, we have $21,500 student loans at 3.8% avg, and $15,000 car debt at 3%.

Can we afford the carribean trip? If yes, which account do we withdraw the money from to pay for it? House fund? E fund? Sell bonds?

Thank you, and again I apologize for the question. Both of us come from poor financial backgrounds, parents struggling with bills, 1 parent income earning min wage, etc. so we always feel guilty spending large sums of money on luxury items.
