I just saw an add for "privacy", a chrome extension that creates virtual "burner" cards for every credit card transaction to prevent credit card fraud. Seems like a pretty cool and useful extension, so I'm considering installing it. My credit cards have been copied several times, and while my card companies have done a good job of identifying these charges and removing those charges, I am still searching for ways to prevent credit card fraud on my accounts.
Have any of you guys used this extension before? Is it worth it? Or do you guys have any other recommendations to prevent fraud aside from refraining from using my card?
