Just thought I would share this story since this is huge for me. I normally order in or go out to pick up food A LOT! Money is very tight right now and I literally had $15.61 to my name until I get paid. I was at home and hungry and decided to order Chinese. Pulled up Grubhub and added the items to the cart: crab rangoons and bbq boneless spare ribs combination platter. Pretty much just one meal with the possibility of leftovers, I was pretty hungry. The total was just about all my money. I was about to enter my card info and realized how ridiculous this was to spend this much on one meal (Even though I have spent way more many times before and never even thought about it), especially since this was all my money. The old me would have just submitted the order. Instead I went to the grocery store. I got two boxes of cereal (store brand), a half gallon of almond milk, a large frozen pizza and a six pack of ramen. All for $14.95. This food is definitely going to last me at least 3-4 days. I never really thought about all the stuff I could have gotten with the money I was using to get take out. I now know better
