My mother's first choice was Xoom, as it seemed relatively popular and by extension trustworthy. However, on the first transaction Xoom froze it and asked for a bank statement and ID. Through email. Reading reviews and such, it turns out this is more than common and the company as a whole is "shady af" as the kids these days say.
That being said, what do you all recommend for transferring money between accounts in different countries?
Edit: it's US to Mexico.
