The 4yr state school I applied for really is not giving me anything due to my parents income being slightly over 100k. My parents don't really have that much to help me with. There it is 11k tuition per year and 8k for room and board. At the community college near it, it would be around 13k per year total (with living expenses). I don't feel it is beneath me but I have decently high high school stats (3.6, 30 ACT, All honors courses when possible, In our only 2 AP classes). I was looking at becoming an RN or if not at least something in the medical sciences.
I also am working a summer job pretty much full time. This should net me around 5-6k, with the possibility of coming back every summer.
Edit: I also have conference honors in my state's academic Bowl.
