I'm sure it has been looked at before but I can't find any actual backtests. I am wondering what kind of ROI you would see on your investments if you only initiated buy-and-hold investments during stock market drawdowns of 5%, 10%, 15% etc. I'm well aware that there is an opportunity cost to not investing available money when there is no drawdown, but I want to look specifically at this idea for starters.
