I bought a DRESSER! It has taken me ten and a half months of searching Craigslist on a daily basis to find one that meets my specs, but I did it, and it only cost me $50, too! Initially I did not think it would be that hard to find a wood upright dresser (as opposed to wide) with 5 or more drawers that wasn't dark wood, but I was wrong.
The dresser that I've been using all this time was also a Craigslist find, but it only had 4 drawers, which meant that a stack of clothes has been stored under my bed. I'm super happy to be able to keep all of my clothes in the same dresser now! The 4-drawer dresser is being turned into storage for craft supplies, mainly fabric and yarn.
Because I am very low income, I could not just go out and spend several hundred dollars buying a new dresser from a furniture store, so I've had to make do. (And I hate particle board with a passion, so IKEA wasn't an option, either.) I'm so glad that I stuck it out and kept searching Craigslist, because this was a great find!
