I don't mind spending the extra money on nice clothes that I wear to work or that will last me a long time, but i find it hard to splurge on summer outfits. I live in NYC and it gets hot as hell here so i need something that is stylish, not too expensive, and won't give me a heat stroke. I'm not too into patters, but exceptions can be made and i haven't really done any thrifting ususally because it's hard to find clothing in smaller sizes. If anyone has any suggestions (like thrift stores, or inexpensive brands) I would greatly appreciate it. Or if anyone has summer ideas, like what clothes work best for the heat, both formal and informal, that would be great. I usually walk around in the same shorts, t shirt and converse all summer, but i'd like to change that.
