Looking for a bit of direction with a unique situation I've found myself in.

I filed my taxes in January on Credit Karma's new Tax filing feature. Although it was new, I chose their platform because I've been using Credit Karma for a year or so & have been happy with the bulk of their Credit tools (Score, simulators, articles, etc).

I worked as an independent contractor for 6 months, and needed to file 1099-Misc (which CK would do for free, compared to Turbo Tax), in addition to two other w2 jobs I had throughout the year.

After filing in Jan, it was brought to my attention in March that I hadn't reported one of the w2's (a job I had for a week, and completely forgot about to be honest), and that I needed to file an amended return (1040x). Not being a big deal, I went back to CK to amended my return, and was preparing to mail it in.

By knack of timing or luck - Just before I mailed the 1040x in, I received a K-1 for a Trust, from the financial group I use. Again going back to CK to enter this info, I found out after a few days of trying to figure it out on CK, that CK doesn't accommodate for K-1's because its a new platform and doesn't have that capability yet. Fantastic.

So I went back to Turbo Tax to renter the info from my original 2016 1040, only to notice that the CK platform had never transferred the info from ANY of the w2s I had input into their system, onto the actual 1040. Even the first w2 I had input wasn't submitted with the original file in Jan.

Now the only idea I have to fix this quickly is to buy Turbo Tax Premium, and basically input the info from my original 1040, and then go back and make the 1040x and mail it in the right way?

The only other options I can think of are to do it all by hand, or bring it to Liberty Tax.

Thoughts?

TL;DR - I filed in Jan with Credit Karma. In March, I needed to make amendment (1040x) to input a w2 & K-1. Credit Karma doesn't support schedule E K-1 (trusts). Now I'm stuck not being able to switch platforms, and am running out of time to figure it out.
