I feel like this should be an easy answer but i'm not researched enough to figure it out. Maybe you guys can help:
My GPS (Garmin) is rather old as is and survived a rather bad car accident a while back so the fact that it's working as well as it does it great. However i am pathetically directionally inept and rely on this gradually aging piece of technology way too much for it to die w/o plans for it's replacement.
What i want is a newer GPS (or app, i suppose, but i don't like wasting my phone battery to get from A to B) that has constantly updating maps AND, if possible, awareness of construction spots.
I'll also want to be moving over my saved addresses (the way one would with phone contacts) in the least obnoxious way possible. Is that a thing?
