So I'm sure you've heard of all these new app banks popping up like crazy. I've used Revolut for a while now, because it was the first one recommended to me and it didn't have any monthly subscription fees. However they just blocked my card because of they suspect it may be compromised. If I unblock it they say I will be liable for any fraudulent transactions that occur. They offer to refund the cost of a new card (5gbp), but the shipping for that card is 5gbp and it would take more than a week to arrive.
So I started looking into what other similar options there are since I've heard of many. Here are the one's I've looked at so far.
Monzo - Looks like a good option, but there is a long waiting list to get it.
Monese - 5gbp monthly fee=no good
Pockit - You actually get a proper bank account with it (which you don't with Monzo or Revolut), but using the card itself has fees.
