I often search craigslist and lookout for tips from my friends on opportunities to buy furniture for cheap (example, couch, roof deck furniture, computer desks).
If the seller is not in close proximity to my apartment, I typically have to pass on the opprtunity because I do not own a truck or large SUV.
Does anyone else encounter this problem, if so are their frugal ways to transport things. I'd hate to rent a truck for a day, which could be $100+.
