I am living in LA but will move to South Carolina in June. I would like to buy a mini van for the move (2 adults, 2 cats, no furniture, and a lot of instruments) and am hoping to find something cheap that I can buy with cash, only register in South Carolina when I get there, that won't break down on the way.
I have been asking around but everyone I ask is NOT frugal-minded and it's hard to explain that, no I'm not willing to get a loan, register in 2 states, etc.
I was wondering if anyone here owns a van/knows of a make/model/year that is reliable that I should keep my eye out for on my hunt. Any advice or links to helpful websites will be greatly appreciated.
