Going to be using a rental to take a vacation from Nevada to Washington - will probably put more than 1k miles on the car. Should I do multiple rentals, NV to Oregon to WA, or just do straight NV to WA? I'm not a huge car guy, I just know basic maintenance so if something were to happen to the car it'd probably be costly. I have USAA and they cover most things: http://ift.tt/2olXKnW
But what if I had to like replace a tire? I don't know where that'd fall. I know people ride rentals pretty hard so what if like the engine light came on after I rented the vehicle? I know breaking up the rental into 2 parts doesn't ensure I won't have issues but it'd be safer... right?
Interestingly NV to OR costs way more than OR to WA - I only plan on spending like 8 days between NV and OR.
