I will admit I am a complete and utter amateur when it comes to much DIY projects of any sort.I was hoping the community might have some tips through either education or from personal experiences on criteria: Wood selection, treating, helpful tools, staining.The first project in mind would be a long desk, L bend to a sort of drafting table that could raise at variable angles.
