i clean my cat litter every day by putting the waste in a plastic bag and throwing it away (i know some of you probably flush, but i've read NEVER to do that as cat poop can have some toxin in it - taxoplasmosis - that can hurt humans so it should never be in the water stream http://ift.tt/2mF2vIz.)
i find that wine bags - you know, those black bags they give you when you buy wine - make perfect sized bags to dispose of the waste. at least theyre smaller than grocery bags. i asked a wine store if i could by some from him but he was charging me a big markup, so i wonder if any of you know where to buy these bags wholesale online, like where would a liquor store buy these bags? sadly i hardly drink alcohol ...
OR if u have any ideas for biodegradable bags i am all ears. i am frugal but i definitely like to be kind to the environment. i even tried different kinds of litter (pine etc) but my cat just loves clumping...
