Are there any other uses for bar soap besides the obvious? A relative used to travel & took home the small samples from hotels. I inherited 2 shoeboxes full of them. Many have the motel name on labels & not what kind of soap. My skin can be dry & sensitive, so wondering if there are other uses? The bars are 25+ years old & are very hard & have turned a dark yellow color (on the Ivory bars i have opened & used). But they still float & appear to be fine otherwise. But I hesitate to donate to a woman's shelter for fear they will throw them out, thinking they are no good or I would donate something nasty. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Tia!
