I'm taking a vacation soon and looking to rent a car for 10 days while I'm there. Called two places, Enterprise and Budget, in the local area for quotes and was told 400 - 600 without a deposit. I wanted to pick it up on a Saturday and got these prices so I asked for the following Monday and it dropped almost $100. Still a bit pricey but definitely a lot better.
Are there any tips, sites I could check out, memberships to join or anything in general I could use to get a good price on renting a car? I'm over 25 and have insurance. Just looking for something drives since I'll be staying within the city I'm visiting with no plans to even drive around there much.
