I spent (to memory) around $2000 on a Seimens electric oven and flat top range about ten years ago. The oven recently stopped holding temperature accurately. A repair guy was just out and charged me a hundred bucks to tell me that it would cost $800 to repair. My dilemma is, it's a very nice oven, but has some serious miles on it. Obviously, I couldn't get anything as nice for the repair price, but the flip side is I'd be repairing a ten year old oven. Wondering other's thoughts and experiences with these appliances, and brand names to consider going forward. Thanks in advance.
