You can go to pretty much any store and ask if you can have some of the boxes they are throwing out, and there is pretty much no reason for them to say no. They might have already broken them down, but that just makes them easier to transport, plus depending on what you're putting in those boxes you'll probably want to tape up the base to insure that they dont fall apart anyway. Last time I moved i needed some more boxes and got a few boxes from a fast food place that their fries come in, and they where more sturdy as well as larger than the banker boxes i had been using, plus the handles never tore off like I find always hapens with banker boxes.
