I was shopping for an ipod charging cable today, and of course I looked for one with a warranty. For one brand, in order to get a warranty replacement for your defective $15 cable, you had to pay for shipping both ways and also give them $5 for...reasons. So your warranty replacement could easily end up costing more than just purchasing a new one.
