I'm looking for a great rotary electric shaver that would be a BIFL. I had an old norelco rotary shaver (my first shaver) for almost 20 years before it died. I bought another one, a sensotouch 3d with all the bells and whistles and was happy with it until I went to get new blades and found out that the whole head assembly was now different and cheaply made (yet oddly expensive). The sensotouch would still be fine except it had an unfortunate incident during a recent trip. Sooo...I'm looking for a new rotary electric shaver. I've tried foil and not been too impressed (my skin is bumpy, I guess). I'm not ready to move to a DE razor yet. I've been eyeing the remington xr1370 and xr1470 vs the norelco models. Anyone have recommendations for a BIFL electric rotary shaver? I'm also trying to take into account the cost of disposables for the shaver (replacement heads/blades, cleaning solution (I'd rather just rinse the shaver with water than use solutions), etc)...
