Maybe the suitcases I've inherited just aren't as BIFL as I had hoped, but I'd love to repair them rather than throw them out when the only damage is the wheels. They pretty wrecked like this, or rubbed out into a semi-circle. My own suitcases don't seem to be easy to replace, as the wheel socket is part of the luggage's plastic base.
Does anyone have any experience replacing the wheels on their luggage?
