Hello guys,

So here's the situation : I'm a 20 years old graphics programmer student living in france, graduating by the end of 2018. Me and my girlfriend are planning on going to live somewhere else by the end of my studies (for now, we're planning on Canada). I have no debts nor tuition fees, nor money aside. I have approximately 170€ of extra money per month after I paid for food, rent and other necessary stuff. In my cursus, it is planned that I'll be doing 2x6 months internships, with between 800€ and 1000€ per month of salary on top of my extra 170€.
My mom is selling her house by the end of the year, and wants to give me either a parcel in south France, either 10000€. Altho as i know the house might be hard to sell, I'm nit counting on that too much. It is also to be noted that my girlfriend possesses an appartement of a roughly 160k value, but has a credit on it ~400 € per months, still roughly 1/3 of the total amount is still due. We still don't know if we should sell it, or rent it. I would love some input on this :)
She gives English classes for a living but wants to do something else. As of now, she doesn't know what yet. As such, I might be the only saving capable income on the pre-canada period.

Also, we have a cat.

What financial plan should we follow to be prepared for going to live to Canada?
What total budget should we prepare for this?
What procedures / things should we expect once there?
Also looking for general tips / advices on how to manage money :)

Thank you all!
