Hey there everybody,

I'll first introduce myself, I am a 20 year old male who hasn't made the best decisions over the past few years. Due to this, I have heavily hurt a relationship with my family (those who supported me). This has led to them deciding to remove funding from me for understandable reasons, and now I need any help moving forward.

Some background - I am finishing my junior year at college with my major as Finance. I have a few thousand dollars that I have made through internships and jobs over time in stocks that pay decent dividends and have gone up around 15% since I invested. I have around 2 thousand saved currently in my bank account. I have assets that could pay out probably another thousand if need be. I have a solid resume, from leadership positions to strong internships. The only caveat being that I have a slight criminal record (no real jail/prison time, no felonies, etc). I have a startup that I own $14,000 in equity that is only growing and could possibly become a paying career in 1-2 years.

Now for my current situation, I will finish the semester at the university I am at as it was already paid for. It is far too expensive for me to pay myself (ranging from 40-60k a year) so if I were to continue my education I would have to transfer somewhere else. This will leave me with enough credits to qualify as a senior at another college.

This leaves me at the dilemma of 'what do I do?'. I am a very educated man and would like to continue my education so that I can pursue a career path suitable for myself. Do I take out a student loan for the rest of my college? Do I apply for grants/scholarships and hope those carry me? Do I apply for jobs/internships so that I can save up enough money to pay off a year of schooling so that I can continue without debt?

How do I move forward here? I do not know if they will let me keep the car they have generously let me use.. I do not know if they will keep me on the phone/insurance/etc bill. How do I go about pursuing each of these on my own in a suitable and manageable fashion? I have very little knowledge of all of this as they handled so much of this for me and I need as much help as I can get.

What would you do as a junior/20 year old in college when you are cut off?

Thank you so much.
