Firstly, I'm a Lady. When I got married in 1975, I was so happy to purchase St. Patrick's Down (Comforter). Still with me so many years later. YAY!! And, I also have some very fine old wool blankets.
I have my long johns. Good old fashioned Duofold. AND my silk LLBeans.
I also have my old rag wool socks. Boots are Bearclaws for $39.00 on sale. I also have my Vintage Merrils. And Sporto Muckalucks.
I have cooked today, my most perishable. I am packing my soup in thermos. I have a large bin to store my food outside, if freezer goes down. Roasted foods will be OK.
I have really good candles and STERNOS for heating.
