I'm putting together a sit/stand desk that needs a surface. The plan is melamine, I want that white, durable surface with black edging. But, I also want a self on the back like so. Screwing into melamine 3/8" from the edge seems structurally sketchy as hell though. Anyone else have an idea? These brackets from ikea would have been perfect, but they don't make them anymore. Square brackets would also be perfect, but $45 for that is steep. I probably also need a 3rd one in the center, so $90. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2nf0jYx
