I am very thankful for the fact that I went to a cheap state school, got a good job, and was able to pay for a very large chunk of my schooling while enrolled. I graduated school with $7,000 in debt and for the first 24 months, I was paying more than my minimum payments but just barely. It took me about two years to knock off $2,500 from my student loans. I buckled down in December and in the last four months I have paid $3,500 to my student loans. Im so excited to be done with student loans by the end of April!
