I know mattresses are not BIFL.
I'm in the market for a new mattress, but not sure if spending an extra bit is worth it if it'll need replacing in a few years.
So many mattresses these days come with pillow tops, and/or are not flippable, thus reducing the life of the mattress. I see it with my parents bed.
Then there's also memory foam mattresses. I have no clue how well those hold up to daily use or if they need turning for even wear.
