Hello r/frugal. First off, my apologies if this isn't a great place to ask my question. now my question:
Due to a fairly large number of significant one-time expenses, I've found my debt has ballooned over the past ~3 months or so. My fiance and I have started being more careful about our expenditures, and we figure we can pretty easily spend ~$500 less a month, most of which we plan to put towards getting my debts back to a reasonable level (and then paid off), so we're headed in a good direction in that regard.
However, It would really help accelerate getting debt under control if I had a way to bring in an extra $200 or $300 a month to put towards credit cards, at least for a few months.
I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to make an extra few hundred bucks a month? I've looked into driving with Uber/Lyft, but between the increased wear/tear/gas I'm having a hard time telling if that would actually result in me making any amount of money, particularly since the area I reside in (Colorado Springs) isn't exactly a metropolitan hub with people needing to get around.
Do the good people of r/frugal have any suggestions on effective ways to make a few hundred bucks a month doing something on weekends or evenings?
