First, I apologize if this is the wrong location for a question like this. I didn't think that the weekly thread would allow me enough space to ask this question as I don't think it is super simple. However, if I need to repost it there and delete this post, I am happy to do so.
I'm getting married in June and I have been looking for an affordable suit. I've been looking through the male fashion advice sub and this board to find the best deals in my price range which is around $500. I consistently see suitsupply being recommended on this board, however, there is not one located near my location. I recently went to a J.Crew store and was fitted for a Ludlow suit but I have not seen any deal since then and it seems their full suit would be upwards of $800. I would be interested in checking out suitsupply considering that it is less expensive and more highly recommended.
My question is if I know my measurements is it generally safe to order a suit online? I would like to order a suitsupply suit but I fear that it may not fit my body type well if I am just ordering it online without going into a store. Does anyone have any experience doing something similar? If so, I would love to hear your experience. Any advice is much appreciated and again, I am happy to remove this thread if it violates the board's rules. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
