I recently moved from Boston to Pittsburgh to capitalize on the cost of living differences. I have been here about half a year now and I am BORED. It is culturally so different that I'm not sure what to do with myself as most of the things I did for fun in Boston are impossible here. As a result, my wife and I have just been sitting around the house. Sometimes, we walk around in circles at the local Target.
I'm trying to ask for experiences from others who have been in similar situations. How much of this stuff is my own fault (i.e., I'm boring)? Should my location actually matter so much?
