I got the same exact trainers 2 times in a row because the first pair lasted over 3 years before falling apart. I got the second pair a couple of years ago but after starting running properly a year or so ago, they ended up nearly falling apart so I thought I would invest in some slightly more expensive ones (like £20 still lol). Last week a little tear happened in the back heel so the support bit of card/plastic is poking through into my ankle so I'd rather just deal with soggy feet if it rains and have my older and much comfier, if nearly completely wrecked, white traineys.
Here is the damage to the white ones:
This rip at the back doesn't go all the way through: http://ift.tt/2lQQCkG
Holes in sides [4, 2 on each side of trainer about same position]: http://ift.tt/2lb4VMZ
Hole in the sole of this one which soaks my foot even if its not raining but has rained gently recently: http://ift.tt/2laQM2B
Tear in the back of the newer trainers that has a support thing sticking into my ankle: http://ift.tt/2lQF6pA
I would love to be able to repair these with stuff from around the house if possible, especially the hole in the sole of my old ones which are much comfier than my new ones. Any help you can offer is appreciated!
