Hello, I am currently trying to mount a pair of bookshelf speakers I have (15 lb each). The house I am in I believe is fairly old, not sure of the year but I would guess at least 80+ years old.Anyways, I purchased a stud finder from home depot to find the studs. Please see this image to see approximates of where I found them: http://ift.tt/2lPhLVp . So the window makes this rather improbable for an equidistant sound. Unfortunate, but I can make do. But here is the problem: All the studs on the left side show the electrical warning on the stud finder...Including the closest stud on the adjacent wall to the left. What option does this leave me? Are these studs 100% unsafe for me to screw into? There are no outlets on this wall in this room, there may be one in the attic above my room. The reason I'm not getting speaker stands and went with mounts is because stands are like $70 more.I take it the speaker mounts can't just be mounted into the regular drywall due to the weight of the speakers? Thanks guys! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2lFCNDA
