So I'm getting married on April 1st and it's coming up WAY too quickly.
I wear about a size 20, 22 in super fitted styles (gown size is 24) and I am looking for a dress for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I don't necessarily want white - in fact I want something I may be able to wear again. It's warm where I am in April, so I'd prefer to not wear a sweater, but also to not expose my arms.
I have a great waist line (that my wedding dress is totally enhancing and that I have shapewear to help with), and I'd like to show that off rather than the plethora of empire waisted plus size dresses.
So I'm looking for something bridal-y, rehearsal dinner friendly, slightly above knee length or knee length, and with sleeves that are either elbow length or mid-upper arm length - not evil cap sleeves.
My go to dress is always black or dark, but that doesn't seem bridal-friendly. I've used Eshakti with great results in the past, but nothing is available right now in a white/off white or white-friendly color that I care for.
The plus size aspect may be outside the scope of many here, but I figured I'd ask anyway since I am totally unversed in fashion.
Please help lead me in the direction of my unicorn dress.
