I've been a long time lurker on this sub. I've reverently graduated uni and have £11,500 of personal debt. I've recently landed a job on £41,200 per year.
I've been shit scared of facing up to my debt. I've had letters from credit card companies about late payments etc... Well... ENOUGH!
I just sat down for 2 hours and made a spreadsheet outlining all of my finances. I now have a a firm plan in place to pay back my debt and it feels amazing.
Don't do what I did and leave it so long. Face your debt and make a plan. It's probably far more manageable than you think.
Thank you to everyone who has ever posted advise on this sub about paying off debt! I will update in 3 months and let you all know how it's going. Peace x
