Does anyone have any experience with mattress shopping on a (relatively tight) budget? I'm looking to get rid of the older than dirt twin mattress I've been sleeping on for the past few years and finally get something nice-ish for myself. I'm looking at getting a Queen, which I know might raise the price a bit, but after sleeping on a twin my entire life, I'm ready to be able to roll over in my own bed without falling off the other end.
Aside from my budget, I want to factor in quality. At 23, I have absurdly bad back pain, and wake up every day extremely stiff and in a great deal of pain. I really want to get something that's going to make a difference in how my body feels. I am typically a side sleeper, but sometimes also sleep on my back.
I was considering getting a Leesa, but a few friends have told me the IKEA memory foam mattresses are actually pretty good, and the price is tempting me. Can anyone advise?
