I'm late to this realization. I didn't think about this until someone on Fast Money mentioned it in passing tonight. I searched /r/investing and there was 1 recent post and it was 3 weeks ago!
How have we not been talking about this?
You can blame who you want for the debt we have, but can we afford to take on more? Enough to build a billion dollar wall, increase military spending, improve infrastructure, fix healthcare and cut taxes all at the same time?
