I just stopped at Aldi for my usual grocery pick up and I loaded down in foods I hardly ever get to get at my regular stores. I'd never been due to my rural location, but I branched out and drove to a neighboring city. I was pleasantly surprised when they rang up my items and I got out spending a cool 43 dollars. Normally I'd pay upwards to 80 for all the things I got, like produce and meats. Also milk was exceptionally low. Its almost three dollars a gallon at ingles or Wal-Mart including quality foods, and I was amazed that they were selling milk for just a dollar seventy something. I got twenty four K cups for about five dollars. The point I suppose of this post really, is to get with you all and ask how the products are ? Are they sketchy ? I had the coffee this morning and it tasted exactly like the normal great value blend I always buy at a fraction of the cost. I'm dubious mostly about the meat and milk, I haven't sampled either yet. Its a shame that these days when I get a good deal I'm automatically skeptical about the quality of the products. It seems when you're getting 'deals' you're sacrificing quality. As far as the coffee goes I couldn't be more thrilled and excited that I managed to get away with 24 servings for just under five dollars. I hope the rest of my purchases are just as surprisingly good.
