Hi r/personalfinance!

I'm 21, just getting done with my Bachelor's degree. I have a job lined up at a startup in India. The job is a Marketing job, and I will be having a large amount of responsibilities. I will be solely responsible for their Marketing online, and will be maintaining/building client relationships.

The listed salary range was ₹300,000-₹500,000 annually and an equity of 0-2%

Although I have some experience in sales in a family business, and a couple internships, I don't have a lot of relevant internships.

I wanted some help with how to ask for a salary that suits my needs.

The office is 2 hours away from my house, so I will probably be renting an apartment nearby which will cost me around ₹10,000-15,000 a month.

Ideally, I'd like to have a monthly paycheck of ₹30,000 or ₹360,000 annually so I can save some money after basic living costs.

What should I do?

Thanks!
