This holiday results in a lot of inflated costs for the typical chocolates, stuffed animals and lingerie. I want to hear all of your tips for celebrating this romantic holiday in a frugal way. I'm looking to do something special for my husband but I'm open to all types of creativity!
I'll share one of mine: last year I had my one year old scribble with crayons over the back of scrap booking paper that I had leftover. Then I cut out hearts from that paper and wrote to: uncle from: baby (for example) and handed it out to family members. That went over really well so I'm definitely going to do hand-made cards with my kids every year instead of buying the pre-made ones.
