Changed my car battery in Halfords the other day and got speaking to one of their on - site mechanics.
Apparently their higher tier own brand tools (cringe inducingly named 'advanced') are made in the Snap-On factory, and come with a life time guarantee.
He spoke very highly of them. If you are in need of basic hand tools they are a very good price.
